Bestway launches Geely in Pakistan with three models
24 Oct 2026
Bestway Group launched Geely in Pakistan with the EX2, EX5 and Starray EM-i. Prices, bookings and delivery dates have not been announced.

Bestway Group has launched Geely Auto in Pakistan, according to Dawn's report of 25 October 2026. Bestway Automotive is the sole authorised distributor and will handle sales and after-sales service. Three models were announced: the EX2, the EX5 and the Starray EM-i. Dawn's report gives no prices, booking details or delivery dates.
Which Geely models were announced
The EX2 is a compact electric hatchback and the EX5 is an electric SUV. The Starray EM-i is Geely's range-extended electric model. Other coverage writes its name as Starray EM-R, so the exact Pakistan name is worth confirming before you search for it.
We already list the EX2 and the EX5 as upcoming cars, without prices.
Where the cars will be assembled
Geely has acquired the Proton plant at Port Qasim, Karachi, for assembly, Dawn reports. Group Managing Director Irfan Sheikh said the company will focus on localisation and build a charging network to support its long-term presence. Evin Ye, vice president of Geely Auto International Corporation, called Pakistan Geely's first market in South Asia.
Bestway says it has invested more than $350 million in Pakistan. That figure is the company's own claim.
What is not known yet
Dawn doesn't say when bookings open, what the cars will cost or when local assembly starts. Until Bestway announces prices, the electric cars on sale today are the nearest price reference.
