Car Import Duty Calculator for Pakistan
An illustrative example, with made-up inputs: a used 1,301 to 1,500cc car with an invoice priced to land under Finance Act 2026 rates (effective 1 July 2026) works out to about PKR 12.5 million on the road, assuming a filer, a commercial import, Punjab registration, Port Qasim and the current exchange rate. That is PKR 4.7 million CIF plus PKR 7.1 million in duty and taxes, then port, clearing and provincial registration. Engine capacity is the biggest variable: the duty slab steps at 1,500cc and again at 1,800cc.

How the assessment is built
- 01
Dutiable value is the invoice plus freight and insurance, converted at the rate set above, with 1% landing charges added. If you enter a customs value it replaces the invoice here.
- 02
The slab comes from engine capacity, body type, fuel and model year. Duty steps at cliffs, not slopes, and the levies do not all step at the same capacity.
- 03
Each levy sits on the running total, so order matters: sales tax falls on customs and regulatory duty too. Excise is struck on the duty-inclusive base.
- 04
Every figure is labelled statutory, estimate or disputed. Port, freight and provincial fees are planning figures. Your actual assessment can differ.
